DIST-SEED: Digital Integration Storytelling Through Social-Emotional Education

Emotional education, often referred to as emotional intelligence or emotional literacy, is the process of developing and nurturing one’s ability to recognize, understand, manage, and effectively use emotions in various aspects of life. It involves learning how to recognize and express emotions, empathize with others, and regulate one’s own emotional responses. Emotional education is essential for personal growth, healthy relationships, and overall well-being.

The main result of the DIST-SEED project will be the production of a Digital Storytelling through Social-Emotional Education for Adults Toolkit (comprising an Adult Educator’s Guide and a Practical Guide), which will be used by a group of adult education professionals – trained during the project – with their learners, to teach them digital skills and support them in finding a new studying/working/life path.

Targets:

Women with disabilities willing to develop their entrepreneurial and digital skills, to improve their employment possibilities, starting a business or a consultant activity.
Disabled women entrepreneurs willing to help other disabled women with disabilities to develop their entrepreneurial and digital skills, and eventually looking for DW to join their staff in managerial position.
Organizations training people with disabilities and their trainers (in a broader sense: also career counsellors, coaches, educators)
Others: associations of women with disabilities, organizations training trainers, women with disabilities company owners, entrepreneurs’ associations, decision makers and others in this field.

Improve adult education professionals’ digital skills, qualifications and competence thanks to the introduction and use of the Digital Integration Storytelling Methodology combined with Social-Emotional Education.

Provide adults’ teachers and educators (hence, the centres they work at) with an innovative educational framework, practical tools and highly motivating material for strengthening their adult learners’ self-empowerment, promoting their social inclusion, improving their digital skills.
